Visual and Performing Arts

Performing and visual arts are featured strongly in the school.

Bow High School has a full Choir program with multiple choral groups. Showtunes (a show tune is a popular song originally written as part of the score of a stage musical) and Acapella (vocal music without instruments) are often performed.

The Band program features a full band along with various Ensemble groups, orchestra and jazz band.

We offer individual and group instruction in guitar, piano, brass, strings, percussion, woodwind. Tuition is covered within the overall international student fees.

You could join the Theatre program which is offered during the school day. Two productions are performed each year with one being a musical.

Multiple musical concerts are also held throughout the year, allowing our students to display their talents.

Field trips to various cultural centers throughout New England occur regularly, though they are optional and do require extra payment to cover travel and attendance costs.

Our Visual arts program provides the opportunity to create work in both 2D and 3D. Photography, drawing and painting as "2D" with pottery, jewelry and sculpture as "3D".
